How do I file an extension for Form 990-T?

If your organization can't file Form 990-T by the due date, you can request an automatic extension by filing Form 8868 with the IRS.

Form 8868 gives you an automatic 6-month extension of time to file. Unfortunately, this form only extends your filing due date. You will still need to make your tax payment on time.

Tax990 also supports the e-filing of Form 8868. Click here to learn how to file an 8868 extension with Tax990.

Complimentary Extension Request

As a part of the Tax990 Commitment, you can file Form 8868 extension at no additional charges by paying for your 990 return upfront.
