TIN Error [R0000-932-02] - How do I resolve it?

IRS Error code: [R0000-932-02]

Rejection Message:
If you're submitting an amended return, please check the "Amended Return" checkbox. If it's not an amended return, ensure that the taxpayer's TIN does not match a previously accepted return for the same tax type and period.

What does it mean:
The organization has already e-filed a return with the same EIN to the IRS. In this case, the IRS would have rejected the return.

Action Required:
If the organization is filing an amended return with the IRS, make sure to check the Amended return checkbox before e-filing the return.

Note: We'll keep you informed on the status of the return once we hear back from the IRS.

For any further assistance, we recommend contacting the IRS e-Help Desk Toll-Free Number 1-866-255-0654.
