Filing Form 990-N, in this case, will entirely depend on two factors: The group return of your parent organization and the annual gross receipts of your organization.
If your parent organization has included your organization along with its group return, then you are not required to file a Form 990-N individually as the parent organization's group return satisfies the filing requirement.
However, if your organization decides to file Form 990-N individually and its annual gross receipts are normally less than $50,000 or less, you must file Form 990-N.
