What is multi-factor authentication, and how does it work?

The Multi-Factor Authentication feature increases the security of your account. It prevents unauthorized individuals from gaining access to your account, even if they have managed to obtain your password through hacking or other illicit means.

For enhancing the security, you have an option to enable Multi-Factor Authentication on your Tax990 account. This will enable two steps of verification while logging in, which adds an additional layer of protection to your account.  

First, enter your username and password as usual. Next, enter the 6-digit OTA sent to your registered mobile number.
