To amend your Form 8038-CP, check “Yes” on Part III, Line 25 to show that you’re filing a corrected return.

If this isn’t your final return, you don’t need to file a separate amendment. You can update the corrected information from Part III on Lines 21a and 21b when you file your next scheduled Form 8038-CP.
