How do I claim a complimentary Form 8868 extension?

When you file Form 8868, you’ll have two options:

• Option 1: Pay for your Form 990 return upfront
  This will automatically waive your Form 8868 filing fee, allowing you to submit the extension at no extra charge.
   
• Option 2: Pay only for the Form 8868 filing
  If you choose this option, you can still come back later to file your 990 return with us—and when you do, we’ll credit the 8868 fee toward your 990 filing.
