My organization ran out of business this year. Should I file Form-990EZ?

Generally, an organization that is terminated or filing its final information return must check the Final return/terminated checkbox under Item B of Form 990-EZ.

So, if your organization has run out of business and is filing the final information return (Form 990-EZ), then you must check the box in Item B stating that your organization has undergone one of the following; liquidation, termination, ceased operations, dissolved, or merged into another organization. Also, complete the applicable parts of Schedule N, and attach it along with the 990-EZ return.
