What is the purpose of Schedule I in Form 990?

Form 990 Schedule I must be filed by the organization along with Form 990 to report information on the grants and assistance provided by the organization to other domestic governments, domestic organizations, and domestic individuals during the tax year.

Also, the organization should report activities conducted directly and activities conducted indirectly through a disregarded entity or a joint venture treated as a partnership.

While filing Form 990 in Tax990 using the 'Interview-Based' filing, schedule I will be automatically generated.

If your organization is required to report schedules other than A, B, and G, we recommend choosing our interview-based filing method.
