Have questions? We've got you covered! What is the 990 Schedule J form?
Schedule J, Compensation Information is filed by an organization along with Form 990 to report the information on compensation provided for certain officers, directors, individual trustees, key employees, and highest compensated employees. The form should also be used to furnish additional information on certain compensation practices followed in the organization.
The Schedule J form is categorized into 3 parts in which
- Part I of the form has questions regarding certain organization's compensation practices and the information on all officers, directors, trustees, and employees of the organization.
- Part II requires detailed compensation information for individuals of the organization.
- Part III is used to explain answers as required in Part I or II of the form.
If your organization is required to report schedules other than A, B, and G, we recommend choosing our interview-based filing method.
