What is EFIN, and how can I receive that?

Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) is a 6-digit identity number provided by the IRS for an Electronic Return Originator (ERO). 

To obtain EFIN, you must submit an online application to the IRS. Once the IRS approves your application, you will receive an acceptance letter that includes the EFIN.
